Just Call.

“I know I have been blessed as I am still sober today. Truly I can rejoice with Paul when he wrote Thanks be to God, who delivers me through Jesus Christ our Lord!” – excerpt from John’s Story

It’s just that simple.   Today’s promise  reminds us to call out to Him when we’re in trouble.   He promises to rescue us, and that we will know it’s Him.  The words suggest we’ll (get this) be so excited by the way He rescues us that we’ll tell the story of what He’s done for us!   That’s not my natural personality, yet here we are.  I could link to a few examples if you need convincing.   Let’s see, there’s  John’s Story,  Lara’s Story,. One Man’s Story, Scott’s Story, Elizabeth’s Story….

Psalm 50-15and call upon me in the day of trouble;  I will deliver you, and you shall glorify me.

– Psalm 50:15

Be encouraged.   He has a plan for each of us.   He rescues us over and over again (as witnessed in the stories linked above).   Call on Him, and use the prayer in today’s journal (or just make up your own) to ask Him to help you.  You are not alone.

If this is new to you, feel free to reach out to us and tell us your story.  You are not alone.
