Be Still and Know

Keeping a quiet heart before God as we heal and move forward, as we wait for Him to reveal His plans, answer our prayers, and soothe our hurts requires an absolute trust in His goodness. It requires knowing for ourselves, just as Jesus did, who we are, where we came from, what we have, and where we are going. That’s what we learn as we spend time in His presence, in His Word, and in His work.

“Lord, you know the hopes of the helpless. Surely, you will hear their cries and comfort them.” – Psalm 10:17.

Be still and know.

“He took away my guilt and reminded me that my life, my future, my journey belongs to Him ” – excerpt from A Future of Hope
