Troubles will come. It’s what we do with them that makes the difference. It may just be a little thing, or it may be troubles stacked so high they are blocking the sun. Either way, as the troubles come each day, we can take God up on His promise, that He won’t let us fall. We can seek refuge in Him, take our troubles to Him, and He will give us rest. Rest. When was the last time someone promised us rest? The best part is that it’s not a one-time offer. We can go back day after day after day.
Go ahead, let us take our troubles to God and let Him fight for us. He’s going to be up all night anyway. There’s no use in both of us losing sleep!
