Today’s Promise reminds us that we don’t have to fight through life on our own. We are going to be challenged, and can be quickly overcome with grief, hurts, addictions, and regrets. Life’s rug gets pulled out from under us without notice, but we don’t have to face it alone. Give yourself a break if you’re struggling to do just that. Instead, let’s look to the One that promised this:
“They will fight against you, but they shall not prevail against you, for I am with you,” declares the Lord, “to deliver you.”
-Jeremiah 1:19
This is a promise that God Himself is with us, and that He will equip us with what we need to withstand the storms of life when they come. He will give us the strength, the resources, and the courage to handle whatever life throws at us. He is bigger than the mountains we face. He is able to help us. Run to Him, and let Him fight for you.
