I am Not Alone

“…things that are happening in my life don’t define me. They no longer have the ability to pull me down into the depths, because they don’t carry the same weight as they used to. Instead of being afraid of those things; like my brother’s death, dealing with an eating disorder, or a bad relationship, I am able to walk through them boldly. Knowing full well that those things to do not have the power to pull me down.”  – excerpt from Fix My Eyes (Taryn’s Story)

Traveling through grief, through family crisis, through treatments or other life-storms, it can be a very dark and scary place.   Promises to feel better are thrown at us from every Who is Jesusdirection.  It’s when we discover that Jesus is with us, and that He fights for us, that we can walk through the storms with our eyes lifted up.   The wind and waves don’t pull us down.  It’s with that understanding, that we can look up with confidence and know, “I am not alone.”
